​At KKs Captures, every detail is designed with care and purpose. We avoid fleeting trends and focus on creating work that speaks directly to your ideal audience — with clarity, impact, and intention.
KKs Captures is a personal brand identity. Originally started back in 2023, it's purpose to be a portfolio, and online shop as a means to sell art and creative prints.
Based on the instagram account, which is still connected. KKs Captures, was an art and photography account at first, but gradually moved towards creative design, after my skills and interests developed into this field. Since then, the goal was to have a design studio of my own, as a way to support myself as a creative, and help others with their own business or creative needs.

So the long story about my creative journey, starts when I was about 2. Well... possibly even earlier, but the oldest drawing that I have, is from back then. I've always been creative and 'arty', but decided to turn it into a design career around 2021, right before I started studying design at AUT.
My arty side is primarily self-taught, around 8yrs old is when I properly took interest in drawing and sketching. This was through line-arts of cartoons and Disney characters. I eventually added colour to some of these. In my secondary years, I learnt many artistic techniques through online drawing courses and art tutorials on YouTube. Whatever I found interesting at that point in time. I also attended a year-long private art class, this helped me to develop my eye with more traditional art skills like charcoals, pastels, sketching, watercolour paints, and some history.
Later on, I bought myself a chrome-book (which I still own and use!), and started to create digital art. This was mostly fan-arts and animals, some of which are in my shop. This is really where my attention to detail progressed. I learnt how to use colour and create realistic artworks. I really enjoyed this and wanted to turn my creative side into a career. The most obvious choice for me, was graphic design, which I then studied at AUT, as a Bachelor of Design -communication design. This taught me the fundamentals and importance of design, and how to use it in a way to support myself through the communities around me.
KKs Captures is a my way of creating an identity to market my skills and creations to those searching for creative expertise.
